You're almost done! The last thing to do is to place the plugin (if it is the type that needs to be seen and used by your readers) where you want it on the visible page, and that is usually going to be in your sidebar menu. You can, of course, create custom menus in WordPress, but that is another topic and training altogether. For our purposes here, we will put our new plugin in the standard right sidebar menu.

Start by hovering your cursor over "Appearance" and then click on "Widgets":

You will see the list of all your installed plugins on the left, and the sidebar menu on the right. All you have to do is simply drag the widget over and drop in into the sidebar wherever you want it to be.

Transposh was too far down on my list to capture the important elements on a screenshot, so I chose the TinyCoffee plugin for this demonstration. Note that when you plop the widget in the menu, a dropdown will show, where you often have the option of customizing its appearance on the visible page of your site. In this case, I am allowed to key in a title of my choice, and create some text that will show, too.

Customize it, then click on the "up" arrow:

The dropdown customizing box will fold back up.

And that's it! Pat yourself on the back, and enjoy working with your new plugin.

I hope you found some value in this training, please do remember to click on the green "Like This" button for me, okay?

Chow, Y'all
