I wanted to placetextON a picture in my new post. I've wanted to do this a number of times before, but today I REALLY wanted to; so I found Diane's post on Adobe Spark and gave it a look (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/dianegailit/blog/c...). I was finally successful in getting the PERFECT PICTURE, the one that conveyed exactly what I wanted.
I needed a photo conveying sunshine and Vitamin D. I went to pixabay.com because I know the pictures are high quality and free (except for the shutterstock photos on the top line). I typed in 'sunshine' and found a picture of a sunflower with the sun behind it! PERFECT! In case you don't know how to download a picture off pixabay, I've included the steps here. If you already know, go to the next slide.
1) Click on the picture 2) Click the 'Free Download' button. 3) Choose a size. (I chose 'S' 640x426). 4) Press 'Download'. 5) Press 'Open' after it downloads. 6) Right click the picture. 7) Click 'Open with'... Choose 'Paint'. 8) Hit 'Resize'. 9) Choose 'Pixels'. 10) I usually put 512 in the horizontal box and the vertical will automatically populate. 11) Hit 'OK'. 12) FILE, SAVE AS, JPEG, Choose location, Name it, SAVE.
