By making yourself write three positive reasons you're going to succeed and an expectation of something good coming out of your attempt, you are setting yourself up to believe that you can succeed. The expectation that something positive will result from your efforts helps to reassure you that no matter what the result of your task should be, it was worth it.

By nurturing an expectation of success within our own minds, we can all counter the fear of failure. Over time, this process will become easier and increase your confidence that every endeavor you attempt will result in some form of success.
