URLs can be saved anywhere that seems convenient. Bookmarks or Favorites have already been discussed. URLs can also be saved offline.
- in a word processing file
- in a "Contacts" file
- in a "Calendar" note
- in a "Notes" file
Because I have access to a note taking app, I save my URL to "Notes." This is simply an app that allows me to make a note and give it a name.
MAC "Notes" is found on the tool bar.
Window's "Sticky Notes" icon is usually on the windows toolbar.
Evernote is one of many note taking apps that can be downloaded.
I have chosen to use the app initially installed on my MAC. Any note taking format will be a convenient way to store your URLs. As you choose a note taking app, look for:
- A visible note list.
- One Click opening for saved and new notes.
- Easy Note Identification.
- Automatic saving on closing.
The one draw back to a note taking app is that some apps are not automatically backed up as other information is backed up. I have had to manually back up "Notes."
Here's how I set up a note to save my URLs.
Thanks again.
