Being in the right frame of mind is crucial. If you are in a bad mood then try and calm yourself down because when your in a bad mood and something doesn't go your way you might make some rash decisions which you could end up regretting.
Be happy. Do something that puts you in a happy mood before you work. I found that if I am in a happy mood I get more done so I try to put myself into that frame of mind. What works for me instantly is having a clean and organised desk. If my desk is untidy, one thing I don't enjoy is tidying up and instantly puts me in a bad mood. Put some music on that relaxes your mind and have a relaxing background on your desktop. Simple stuff like this helps trust me.

You hit the nail on the head with the office advice...this morning I was texting my husband that I cannot continue to do this perched in the recliner. It's where the younger kids come out and drive me crazy when I'm trying to just read something...because when I'm on the computer it didn't used to bug me when they talked or were around. Now I need to concentrate LOL!!!!
