Market research for the successful business is not optional. It is the difference between selling a few products and selling many products.

–It shows you CARE about your customers’ needs

–It shows you are interested in their needs

–It allows you to sell what they already want

–It will give you clarity about what they want

–It will increase conversions

–It will increase overall responsiveness (likes, shares, comments)

–It will lower your costs

–The more you know your customer, the more they will trust you

–It will help you understand what makes your customer buy

It is easier to sell to someone who is already interested! And thorough market research will take you towards your interested market.

Think about it this way. Say you want to sell pet toys, then really, is it worth spending loads of time developing a relationship with someone who has allergies when they’re around animals? Probably not.

You would be much better off talking to someone who already has pets. In fact, your ideal customer would probably have more than one pet, because then they’re likely to buy in bulk. They also are likely to be repeat buyers because pet toys don’t tend to last that long.

So Market Research is super important, and it is best to begin understanding it right at the outset of starting your online affiliate marketing business, and if you have already started, you probably already can know why this is so important.

Great training about market research

This one of most topics for a successful marketing career and a lot of beginners marketers don't spend time studying this subject. Thus, doing a lot of mistakes you mentioned and spending a lot of precious time.

Excellent! I especially like the stuff about choice and value and not wanting money for money's. This is true for me too. I see it as a means to an end, not an end in itself.

Good job! Looking forward to more.

No problem.

Happy to make money and earn a good living for me and my family, but after that... well I guess then I'd have to become philanthropic. I quite like the idea of angel investing ;) x
