Budget Your Time
Now that you have allocated your time, you can begin scheduling what you need and want to get done There is a difference.
Do What You NEED To Get Done, First
Debbi, one of our Ambassadors always refers to "eating the frog first". It is an excellent analogy and should guide how you approach your tasks.
Your number 1 priority at WA - always - is building your online business. As a new Member, this includes training and learning. Once you upgrade to Premium, completing the Online Entrepreneur Certfication (OEC), should be at the top of your list.
In working through that you will be building your online brand, learning to become a better writer and establishing yourself in the search engines and social media realms.
Do this every day! Eat the frog first.
Knowing your speed is also helpful. If you only have 2 hours each day and this is totally new, you will want to use that time wisely. Between 50-75% of that time should be for your training and learning. Whatever time is left can be used for additional reading, comments and so on.
The only competition you have at WA is with yourself!
Stay away from the trap of rising in WA rank early on and wanting to have success like other Members who have been here for a long time. You will be setting yourself up for failing.
Relax Where You WANT To
After completing what you NEED to, you can use the time left to do what you want leisurely. Few people approach getting things done like this and tend to allow perceived demands to pull them away from what they NEED to do.
You may WANT a 75" TV but do you really NEED it, if you cannot afford it now and a 30" will be adequate?
Achieving goals is about sacrificing. It means doing with less today and investing time and effort for tomorrow to enjoy greater and sustaned fruits in the medium to long term.
Accept where you are and what you have and work towards building.
You NEED to learn and build your business. You WANT the recognition and the fame. The first will give you the latter. What you WANT is not always what is best or what will staisfy what you NEED.
It's amazing how we often know where we make mistakes and do nothing about it, but when someone else point that out to you, then you stop, think about it and start making a change.
So, thanks for this reminder! I will definitely take step by step and use my time wisely as you suggested!
Keep writing, you are definitely doing an excellent job!
All the best!
Ana
Yes, at one point or another , we all are overwhelmed with the amount of information that comes rushing to us. However, we have to find a way to navigate around it all and use only what we need and let the rest fall by the wayside.
Thanks for the great advice you so willing provided to help us avoid the constant overload and in so doing find some form of balance. Wishing you the very best!
Kind regards,
Nichola
I'm used to staying focussed and getting things done in a timely manner in an offline world. However, I seem to get more easily distracted online and need to apply a touch more self discipline!!

I have noticed over the years that when the going gets tough the most underwhelmed people tend to have been the best organised.
The best organised tend to have been those who capture all there 'stuff'' in writing in some form, (thereby dumping their stuff outside of their mind, thereby minimising interference in their minds). They then turn their stuff into action lists that they priorotise based on what they want to achieve.
