Squeezing IM into Your Daily Routine

How many minutes each day do you spend commuting to work?

Take advantage of this time by listening to webinars or audio books related to your business.

There are a number of ways to record the weekly WA Wabinars. Record them to a smart phone, burn to a CD or tape on a cassette. There is a large number of Wabinars in the resource library that you could listen to during your commute. Even though you are not watching the visual presentations -Jay does an excellent job of explaining so you will pick up many tips just by listening.

I like to record an audio tape of the weekly Wabinars on my iPhone. During the week as I commute to and from work I listen to the lessons. There is a lot of information presented in each Wabinar so to get the most out of it I listen to it several times.

  • Make a list of things that you could listen to during your commute.
  • Record your learning resources.

Lunch Hour

Take a few minutes during your lunch hour to read blogs, send out tweets or proofread articles. These tasks can be done on a smart phone or tablet.

If you do not have a smart phone or tablet keep a pad of paper and pen handy to write down ideas that come to you during the day.

Chauffeuring the Children

Many parents find that they spend a lot of time driving their children to activities. Part of this time is spent waiting in the car. Take advantage of these few minutes by setting up a mobile office.
It can be as simple as a pad of paper and pen or more techie such as a smart phone, tablet or a laptop.

Turn those 15 minutes of waiting time into productive internet marketing tasks.

Delegate

Who can help you with your household chores, proofread your articles or become part of your team? Do not be afraid to ask for help. You can not do everything.

Hire Help

If you have more money than time, then plan to hire help. Outsource either your household chores or some of your internet marketing tasks.

I believe many WA members are holding down full time jobs and raising families. We can help each other learn the priorities of an internet marketing business and teach the skills to grow.

Great coverage of To Do's. It's hard when working other jobs, but truly believe it's in my interest until I have that income generating from online business.

Yes. It is best to keep your day job until your online business is making enough income to cover expenses.

Nice post, Yessharon. Some people simply cannot prioritize their time. That would make it very, very hard to get through the day.
