The Key to Success
I have owned and operate several different successful businesses throughout my life, and I have passed on owning several others that I just didn’t feel made good sense. One thing that I learned a long time ago is this:
The Key to Success is to Take Action On Good Information Presented.
If you don’t act, take a chance, reach out and go for it, you will never get anywhere in this life. However, you need to act on good information. In order to know whether or not information is good, it usually takes the following:
A.) Initially read and/or study the information presented, all the way through (if it is interesting).
If it is not interesting, at least see if you can glean something from the information presented. Is it an opportunity worth pursuing? (Sometimes information is not presented as well as it could be.)
B.) Vet the information.
Definition of 'to vet': To check up on somebody or something. To subject somebody or something to a careful examination or scrutiny, especially when this involves determining suitability for something
Vetting can usually be accomplished by searching Google for reviews, scams, complaints, etc. for the information presented. Don’t be unnecessarily swayed by a few good or bad comments.
Good comments can be legitimate or just promos by the author or associates of the site.
Bad comments can be legitimate or just a few disgruntled individuals who have nothing better to do than complain.
Conduct a thorough review.
C.) Review the Information Closely. If the information appears to be good, and the program does indeed seem to present a real opportunity, then, Review the Information Very Closely (several times if necessary). Look past any hype, and see what you are really getting.
