3. Start tweeting and retweet
Do you love using Twitter as a social media platform to build your site? I've heard from people who say they don't love using Twitter. You have nothing to be blamed for.
For those who use Twitter, I still observed that a lot of people don't really understand how to make the most out of that platform. Some people think all they have to do is just follow other people and build a network. Is that all you have to do to make the most out of Twitter and generate tons of traffic? Not at all!
There are a couple of things you need to do to maximize Twitter in the course of building up your business. You need to learn how to use hashtags for your Twitter posts including all of your tweets and retweets. This makes your tweets come up quickly in search results.
You need to understand the fact that use of hashtags is much associated with Twitter in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs). And using hashtags can help your posts get a good Page Rank in search engines.
You need to tweet regularly and retweet other people's posts to build a strong relationship and create connections with online influencers.
4. Publish Guest Posts
Have you ever published a guest post in lifetime? Guest posting is one of the good ways to build bonds with other bloggers out there. You're usually allowed to include links to your own blog posts right within your guest post and you can potentially get a lot of traffic from that.
A great dividend you're going to get from guest posting is that a lot of people who follow the blogger will also follow you. Most of them will, of course, read your posts and leave their comments.
If you've not been getting invitations to submit guest posts, don't be baffled. Just continue building out your site implementing working strategies. Someday, you will start receiving invitations to submit guest posts and a lot of other struggling bloggers will clamor to submit their guest posts to you.
