Rank 1558

With this training video I will show you how my articles/posts have been ranked in Google with my newest website, roughly 4 months old.

I show this not to brag, although I am proud of my accomplishment, but to show YOU that you too can get this high when you keep some important principles in mind.

You actually can do a lot to make this happen!!!

Never give up, it will take some time and some "commitment" on your part.

Nothing really comes for "FREE", certainly not "SUCCESS".

All the best to you

Thanks Katie. I know it is a simple measure depending on how you look at it, but I also do believe that every successful progress should be mentioned. :)

Everyone needs to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I noticed a couple things. Your high rankings are for your exact article title instead of for the popular search terms within them which explains them being ranked so high with minimal work on them. I also noticed you are losing massive search engine marketing and link building opportunities by placing your articles as pages instead of post where they never make use of the built in ping tools that tell Google and other Blog Search engines you have new content. A blog is about the blog and pages are not the same as a blog post and perform differently.

Another tool you lose doing pages instead of post is RSS which stands for really simple syndication and it allows other site to share snippets of your articles with links back to your content and allows Google to better index your site when combined with sitemaps. Not trying to discourage you but instead trying to help you get focused on the terms with higher traffic, and ranking for those terms instead of your article title, and then getting the most free traffic as fast as possible.

I have been doing this with Wordpress since 2003 and these tips are vital for all bloggers to learn and are covered in the WA training system as well.

Hi Andy,

Your view and comment is certainly correct when someone is interested in all the details,

However, this wasn't my intent at all. I observe my individual page ranking and my web domain as well for quite some time, and with the training Kyle and Jay are giving here, they have proved it that proper keyword search is certainly very important.

I also acknowledged, that receiving comments for my individual pages by requesting them here at WA , has too boost my individual page ranking.

The page vs. post discussion is an ongoing thing and some members do see a difference with it, others not.

Even Kyle has mentioned, in one of his training videos that it also depends on the layout of the theme and we shouldn't get to hung up.

I like to do it that way, because it fits better for my niche and the way I want to represent it.

I am not discouraged when someone voices their own point of view. If it does intrigue me, I always take a look at and try the suggestion out.

Sylvia
