Focus on your subject line
You will agree with me that the first important ingredient to your email is your subject line, without a catchy and pleasing subject your email will not be opened when received and therefore making the contents in it a waste of time. A lot of times many subscribers often get emails from multiple companies with this approach and it can be difficult to stand out from this crowd of poor performance. There are key steps you need to take when considering creating this captivating subject line but have to be creative on this and remain honest with your brand and personality. There are certain action words you should consider using like
• Buy
• Ask
• Download
• Reserve
This will enable the reader to understand what direction your email is pointing at and their expectations. It is also advisable to make your subject line captivating and would convince the users that they will be missing something out if the email is not opened.
You said something that really drove home. What the writer must to to make the reader willing to open future Emails. Hence, it is not only necessary to help the reader make a decision for the email he is reading, but also to include a snippet of what to expect in the next Email. Like a cliff hanger at the end of a TV series for the season.
Great job here.
The only improvement I can think of is to give actual examples of a selection of Subject Line messages.
Some examples to illustrate the various sections of the Email would also be helpful.
Other than that, you provided the information necessary to write captivating Emails.
Thanks.
