5. Ask Admins for Permission
Before you advertise, you need to seek the permission of the subreddit’s admin. Note that neither the users nor admins will give room for aggressive advertising.
To gain their trust, you can address a problem users have been facing and how your product can solve it.
Your message should interest and engage your audience.
6. Ask Admins to Post Your Link
Links that are posted by the admins are naturally trustworthy and they get more attention. So take a step further by contacting and asking an admin of a subreddit to post your link.
When they see that your link is useful or you offer a certain discount, they might reply favorably to your product.
7. Run a Giveaway
Try to run a giveaway!! This will help users get interested and, even, get to interact with your brand. This will put you in favor of the admins.
You can launch a competition, whereby the winner gets a gift. All these you can do to promote your brand.
8. Ask Friends to Upvote Your Post
You can ask your friends to upvote your post. But take caution, do not make this request every time you post. This might draw suspicions from the admins. It is good to generate votes and activities towards your post but do not overdo it.
9. Analyze Posts in Your Subreddits
You need to check which post has got high attention and create a post similar to that to get your own attention.
You can write about things that will catch the audience’s interest.
I have never used Reddit before but after reading this, it's something I will definitely have to look into in the future.
First, I use it to see questions people are asking in my niche, then I write topics about that.
And secondly, I use it for the promotion of my website and it works.
Here's what I do since it's possible to rank very fast with Reddit:
After writing a new post, I also write the same on my Reddit account, then link back to my site.
I wrote a post a few days ago on Reddit and in two hours that post was on page one of Google! And the one on my website isn't even ranking yet.
That's awesome
