Tip 2.
The click-through ratio.
My second tip has to do with one of the most important factors that Google weighs to determinewhether your webpage should rise or fall in the search results. You, as a writer, can have a great influence. It has to do with the extent how often searchers click on your page on Google's search results,in relation to the links above and below you.
The click-through ratio.
Google reasons, when many people click on a certain link, it is probably relevant to the search.A high click-through ratio is therefore good for your ranking.
And how do you get the click-through ratio up?
By coming up with an irresistible title and meta description. Therefore, spend extra time and attention on formulatingof an irresistible title and meta description.
The importance of your click-through ratio for your ranking is the dwelltimeThat's the time a visitor spends on your page, because, this is how Google thinks, when most visitors immediately abandon your page, it is apparently not a relevant page for that search term. And then your page will drop in the ranking.
But if the visitors stay longer than average on your page, is that for Google a clear signal that they have found what they were looking for.
