But If you want to turn off or on comment boxes on some pages and leave them where you want, just enter quick edit on the page or post and there on the right you will find "allow comments", if you click on the tick in the box, comment box will be turned off but if you want to turn it on, you can enter quick edit and put tick in the box, the comment box will appear on your page or post.
