It is a Powerful Tool!

I recommend that regardless of what you are promoting (Clickbank, Commission Junction, ROI Rocket, etc.), you have some tracking process in place. Each affiliate network has their own way of doing so you would want to check with them.

Because Clickbank is the most popular starting point for people, I figured this would be a great way to introduce you to the process.

Gotcha, thanks. Yeah it just seems it wouldn't do me any good if I can only just use one tracking ID with my domain since I have so many different links going to that domain. This info was helpful though. Thanks!

I do add a separate link for each article. I want to know exactly where the sales are coming from.

As far as a tracking ID on my domain names, you can only add one as far I know. Just redirect your domain name to your affiliate link with your tracking ID for the domain name.

i.e. - www.affiliateid....tid domain.

This is nice, but again, you can only add one tid per domain name though - at least as far as I know.

Do you get a separate tracking id for each article? Also, i buy domain names and redirect my domain from godaddy to my affiliate link. I'm trying to figure out how to add tracking ids etc if I'm using a redirect or forward. Is this possible?
