Hopefully, your answer to "Are You Setting Goals" was YES!

But now the question is....what kind of goals are you setting?

Most Common Goal Type

One of the most common types of goals that people set for their business is an "Income Goal".

By this I mean that you set a goal to be earning a certain amount of money with your business.

The most common type of money goal is something like this - "I want to be earning 6 figures with my business within 1 year", or something like that with a time length by which you want to accomplish this particular goal.

This Goal = NO GOAL

Sometimes people don't even include a time length, but just have a general sense of how much they "eventually" want to earn with their business. Unfortunately, this is like having no goals at all because it's way too vague to do any good whatsoever.

Income Goals Not the Best

Honestly, income goals are not the best type of goal you can set for your business because they cause you to focus on the wrong thing.

I started doing this, it really helps! Clarity is key. Consistency breeds momentum! Discipline, dedication, and devotion may suck at times, but in the determination pays off in the end.

Mary-Elle,
This is so true - members here need to focus on what
we can control not things that are out of our control
and that is what I have been doing when I set my
schedule for this year - nothing to do with money at all!
