So ...

There are several ways that will allow you to showcase points and other related information.

First of all, you can use various shortcodes:

  • the points logs visible in the admin area can be easily displayed on any post or page using the [wordpoints_points_logs] shortcode
  • you can show how many points a user has using the [wordpoints_points] shortcode
  • you can display a list of the top users with the most points using the [wordpoints_points_top] shortcode
  • more than that, you can easily display a list of ways that your users can earn points using the [wordpoints_how_to_get_points] shortcode

Following the last example, if I insert the [wordpoints_how_to_get_points] shortcode into my post ...

... I'll get this:

Simple and efficient ...

Also, the plugin provides two widgets - WordPoints and WordPoints Top Users - you can use for the same things as the shortcodes ... For example, here's the WordPoints Top Users widget added to my sidebar:

Needless to say, you can use a simple Text or Custom HTML widget to display any shortcode you want ... Wherever you want, in any widget ready area ...

And it's extremely easy to take the whole idea to a completely new level ... For example, you can create monthly prizes (free ebooks, discounted offers, etc) for your top users ... Again, the only limit is your imagination.

And that's it my friends! If you have any comments, further questions or update requests please don't hesitate to react! Like, comment and share!
