So ...

Upon activation, go to WordPoints => Points Types. This is where you can define your custom point types. Simply enter a name and click the Save button:


Once you have created a new point type, various events will be displayed on the same page and you can add so-called reactions to these events to award points whenever they take place on this site. You can learn more about how they work from the plugin's user guide on WordPoints.org.

As you can see in the above user guide, you can define each reaction according to your needs. But it's easier to click the "Create Reactions" button ...


... to automatically generate a set of default (sample) reactions for each event:


Needless to say, you can now edit them to your liking, you can add several conditions, and then you can enable them to start awarding points:


And of course, you'll have to repeat the reaction defining & enabling process for each activity you want to reward. You'll be able to give users points for visiting your site, leaving a comment, writing a post, registering on your site, etc.

And that's it ... The plugin will now start tracking the user rewards points on your website and you can see the available points by visiting WordPoints => Points Logs:


And now you are ready to display the user points on your Wordpress website ... So let's see the magic ...
