Name your images

I noticed lately that many of my traffic came from image searches. It was a great aha moment for me. I have the habit of naming my images according to the topic I am writing on.

When I write reviews on my stroller website, I usually use many pictures to show my readers what these strollers look like. I always name my images.

For example, if I write about the uppababy stroller, I make sure to name my image accordingly. Sometimes I give specific names like 'the uppababy stroller gregory' or the uppababy stroller folded' and so on.

Google indexes images according to their names. When someone does a search and the name of your image is relevant to that search, it is pulled up and ranked by google. The more people click on your image the higher it gets ranked by google.
