Be responsible on Site Comments

We all have a responsibility to behave like decent people in our community and I am sorry to have to bring this to your attention as most people play fair.

What I mean by this is there are a few people who have tried to scam site comments by using copy and pasting a formatted answer to an article. Believe me, it stands out like ……. Don’t do it! It is obvious that the commentator hasn’t read the article (disrespectful) it is insulting to the person who wrote the article (wasted their 2 credits) and it will get you banned.

If you receive 3 spam warnings then Wealthy Affiliate will ban you from participating in this program, you don’t want that.

Receiving a load of gibberish in a comment or an obviously repeating sentence is both annoying and pointless. Take the time to read the whole article, add some of the points to your comment and show that you at least read it.

When you leave that article after just two seconds it shows up in the author's website stats as a bad bounce. You are not helping them or yourself. And they will know who you are and resent you wasting their time. It’s easy enough to check a person’s profile in the community.

Build a good reputation

Some commentators earn themselves a terrific reputation for offering great comments and I always look forward to them commenting on my articles. In fact, I time my requests for when they are doing their Site Comments to get their input.

Becoming an accredited commentator comes with a responsibility to your fellow members. Remember that they will be commenting on your articles and would you like someone to send a load of gibberish to you?
