Buckets are Categories.
When you use Buckets, you are organizing your content by categories.
For example, if you have multiple websites, and are creating content for each, you may have found that your content is all mixed together in SiteContent.
The reason is that by default, remember, SiteContent shows ALL content in ascending order.
If you'd like to be able to see your content organized by website, you can simply use Buckets to create a category for each.
Buckets Organize and Save Time
In SiteContent, choose a content piece displayed in your grid, and click on the Bucket.
It will look like this:
To start organizing your content, click on 'Create a new bucket.'
Type the name of the bucket you wish to create. If you are categorizing by website, this can be the name of your site, initials thereof, or any label to represent that website.
As you can see above, I've used initials in this example.
When you save the bucket, you will see that it holds 1 article - the article you just created the bucket with. Repeat this process for each piece of content until you have all of the articles placed in the correct buckets.
You can create as many buckets as you wish. If you have 3 websites, you can create 3 buckets, and organize your articles accordingly.
You can see above that I placed 23 articles in the TVGH bucket, as they were all articles published to that website.
