Conclusion

You’ve just got instructions for setting up Google Analytics on your WordPress without installing a plugin.

After adding Analytics tracking code, you can choose to prevent Analytics from keeping track of logged in users.

Aside from using a plugin or the theme header of your editor to enable Google Analytics on your WordPress site, there are other alternatives such as connecting Analytics to Google Search Console (GSC) – I’ve written a lot about these alternatives as well.

However, if you’re currently using the All in One SEO pack plugin, you can simply insert your Google Analytics tracking ID (in the format: UA-11XXXXXXX-1) in the appropriate field and you can start tracking your site visitors right away. That’s one of the simplest ways to do that using a plugin.

Very nice technical piece and I can see how it would be of benefit. I myself prefer the plugin approach. Have use Monster Insights fro a variety of Wordpress sites without any issue. Keep up the good work.

Excellent, my friend! Good to know you have once used the MonsterInsights plugin and you had no issue with that no matter how little. That proves to others that it's a good plugin to use. Thanks so nicely!
