Email, Broken Links, and CTAs
Email is one of the things most marketers miss on because they don't understand the true potential of having an email list.
The email list isn't only a way to communicate with your readers, but it's also a great way to help your audience better, get to know them, and send more offers that are relevant to your audience.
Therefore, if you are not utilizing email, you're leaving money on the table. It's that simple.
Another thing that might be lowering your revenue is broken links or products that are out of stock. These things change daily and even though it seems impossible to keep checking all your featured products or links on your website, luckily - we have tools for that.
This is time-consuming but if you don't keep checking on it, it might cost you a lot in the long run.
Lastly, a call to action is super important and if you don't have them in all of your posts, you should add them. Call to action doesn't mean you tell anyone what to do, but sometimes people need to be reminded that they can share your post, that they can leave a comment, or that they can click on a button or a link to learn more information.
That's why you must add a call to action. If you don't have CTAs in place yet, add them but also track the performance so you know exactly how much are CTAs helping (or are not helping) your online business.
But in the long run, it's always better to have them even if they ensure that at least one of your visitors clicks on an affiliate link to learn more about the product.
I will try to get these strategies implemented as soon as I can. It is worth noting that not all high priced items equal good commissions. I was browsing affiliates the other day and saw one selling $400 items.
I then looked and saw they paid out only 5%. For helping someone sell $400 in merchandise I don't think $20 is a fair commission! (Especially when many partners offer 10%, which I do think is fair.)
I check Google Console regularly to see if any errors pop up about any broken link, and then I fink it.
Jay also did a class about using Goals in Google Analytics to set up to see how many clicks, if any, you get on your links to increase your conversion.
Great training
Much appreciated my friend.
