Tip 5 - Find the Right Platforms
It is crucial to have a clear understanding of who you are trying to reach in order to plan your next marketing efforts. It is not a good strategy to try and reach a group of young teens on Facebook.
It is also not a good idea to target older retirees via Instagram. You should tailor both the content and the channel that you use to reach your audience.
Consider sending out a newsletter, in addition to your social media efforts. It's an excellent way to keep in touch with your audience and send them relevant content. While you may not be able to get everyone in your audience to sign up, those who do will be very engaged.
Perhaps you could reach out to another blog that is in the same niche as yours to offer a guest posting opportunity? This could be a great way to reach a wider audience and build your network.
You shouldn't send low-quality guest posts to every blog that you find. That's a poor marketing strategy and will not do any good. If you have a great article that you can write for another blog that has a larger audience than you, do it!
Tip 6: Advertising
You can also place ads on Facebook and Google if you have the budget. This will promote your blog. Facebook gives you the ability to boost your post so it gets more exposure.
It allows you to focus your attention on the people you want to reach by switching settings for age, location, and interests. This makes it easy to target your desired audience.
