So we are in the Fetch as Google section.

Enter just the post part of the url into the box. So if your url is yourdomain.com/how-to-do-it, only put the how-to-do-it bit in the box. Be careful NOT to copy the / as this is already populated in the box.

Then you will see a drop down box marked Desktop and Smartphone. You will need to do this part twice, once for the Desktop and once for the Smartphone.

Then click Fetch

You will then see this:

After you have done both the Desktop and the Smartphone entries you will have 2 of these. Click on Request Indexing.

Do this part carefully!

We were told this DOES affect indexing speed although we have not tried it the other way around! If it works why fix it!

Click the Crawl Only this URL box FIRST

THEN click the I'm not a Robot box

and then click Go.

That completes this part of the process. Click Next Page to see the 2nd and final step.
