Scroll back up and click on "Request Indexing.”
You will see a box like this —
Then this —Then the page itself will say, "Indexing Requested.”At this point, don't request it again. Wait a few minutes and then open up a new window and do another check to see which posts on your website are indexed. Remember, type into the Google search bar -- site:yourwebsite. (And don't forget to type in .com or whatever .something you have.)
I have seen a post be indexed within about 10-12 minutes. Actually, I have had that happy experience more than once.
But I have also waited more than half an hour and still didn't see my post show up as being indexed. I tried to open a report on Google Search Console, and it said this —
On the one occasion when I saw that, I just closed Google Search Console.
I wanted to let you know this, because it is possible that you won't get your post indexed right away. Or maybe not at all. And I can't tell you why.
But usually, this process of requesting indexing has worked very well for me.
So even if my sitemap didn't show up, and regardless of whether "Indexing allowed" said "Yes" or "N/A," I have gotten posts indexed in less than fifteen minutes.
I hope the same for you!
