The list works great mid-post, if you just want to list out some recommendations for your customer.
I personally love the grid as it gives a great visual and people love clicking on pretty photos.

I personally have not used the plugin EasyAzon, although I've studied it a bit. I like using Amazon directly, and I've found it just as simple.
If you are referring to the cookies for an Amazon affiliate purchase, the terms state that they last up to 24-hours, or until the customer has finished that single click-through session with a purchase.
If a customer adds your item to their cart in the same session, you can get a commission if they check out with that item within 89 days.
