Hi there!

As you may already know, pages do not have the same features on WordPress like posts do.

For example, in most WordPress themes, the featured image is displayed in a post but NOT in a page. Yet, there is a way to achieve this.

However, we will need to add some HTML code. You need to be careful when doing some custom coding to your site or else you may mess up your website. I suggest you first do a backup of your website before altering any codes.

Even better, create a test website! Loes has created a very important tutorial on the importance of opening a test site (see the link below). She explains how malicious scripts and plugins can really create havoc on your website. I strongly recommend you follow Loes' advice, and that you open a test website to test new HTML coding.

Now, let's get started in displaying Featured Images from Site pages.

For your page in order to center a featured image...to the page in Wordpress.
Click edit.
Go to set featured image on the bottom right
Click on your featured image - this will take you to media and the image. This is where can make changes to the image and set it to center on your page.

Hey, Mike.

To my knowledge, featured images cannot be centered.

They are set to be displayed on the left side of your article by default.

There may be plugins or code which can be used to modify images, so if I know of any, I will let you know.

Best regards,
Jason

Hi Carole, good HTML addition.
I always advise people to first open a test website, before playing around with the editor of their regular website, to test added codes Did you know that you can add codes to your training, without the risk that they are changing during copying?

Thanks Loes for your advice. It's greatly appreciated!

I didn't realize there was an icon to add code. I'm still new at creating some training here at WA.

The next time I'll add training, I'll mention about your training (of opening a test site to test HTML code).

Have a great day,
Carole

Hi Loes,
I edited my tutorial as you showed me. I added code properly in the training (using the code icon).
You're the best!
