1) Identify a specific Topic

The first thing you should prioritize is your topic. Select an engaging topic that you can be thorough about. Whatever be the purpose of your webinar, align your topic with it. Ensure the topic you have selected relates to the nature of your business, and be sure to understand the topic so well as to show authority and expertise

When sourcing for topic ideas, you can check your existing content to find which once were highly engaging. Another source of content idea will be questions from your comment section or another form of customer-based feedback.

Ensure your selected topic is precise and not too broad. Stay focused on your promise, ensure you deliver as promised, that way your audience will have gained value for their time.

2) Select a Platform

When it comes to platforms for your webinar, there are lots of options. You can enjoy the free once like Google hangout if you work under a low budget. In it all, whether paid or free platforms, you should consider the number of webinar participants you will be expecting, will you have access to other features like screen share, easy to accept questions from webinars, and also put your cost into consideration

    3) Decide on a Format

You have gotten a topic for your webinar, and you have also selected where to deliver the webinar. It is time you decide on how to deliver your webinar. If you are a new business without a partnership, I think the single speaker format will be ideal for you. It means you will be the only one anchoring the webinar, items of delivering content and responding to questions and answers

Another format is the dual presenter and third been the panel presenters. Just like their name sounds, while the dual presenter has two people anchoring the event, the panel presenters have multiple presenters.

Other formats you can take advantage of is the Q&A format, interview format, product demo and lots more. The most important thing, are you selecting a format that you can use comfortably based on your available resources and content.
