Let's face it, the regular Wordpress user is not familiar with HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.
In fact, this is the very essence of any blogging platform or content management system ... Will allow you to easily create and publish live web content without any coding skills.
This is why Wordpress is so incredibly popular and this is why has become so powerful in less than two decades ...
Basically, Wordpress will allow you to create and use almost anything on your website ... We have plugins and widgets for almost any task or feature ... We can easily create charts, tables, buttons, or other web elements without any HTML or CSS knowledge.
So yes, there are many Wordpress plugins that will allow you to add nice buttons to your posts and pages. However, most of these plugins are using so-called shortcodes. These shortcodes are little bits of code that were introduced in WordPress 2.5 in order to allow users to execute code inside posts, pages and widgets without directly writing any actual code. In plain English: a shortcode is nothing else, but a simple, predefined line of code which will allow you to easily embed files or create objects that would normally require a lot of coding ...
They are are quite simple and extremely useful.
Still, when it comes to buttons, you'll have to define shapes, sizes, colors, actions, etc, which attributes can make these shortcodes difficult to remember and hard to configure ...
So I've decided to create this short tutorial where I will show you how easy is to create cool buttons in Wordpress without using shortcodes.

Let's do this!
I do have one question....
I pulled up the plugin on the "add new plugin" from the plugin tab on my site and in the description it says "Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress." I'm using the latest version (5.1) and it says in the description "Compatible up to: 4.9.9"
Does that mean i will need a more updated version of this plugin for it to function properly?
Thanks again, Brad
