So ...
We are going to use a handy plugin called Restaurant Reservations.
Here it is:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/restaurant-reservations/
This awesome plugin will allow you to accept restaurant reservations and table bookings online. You'll be able to quickly confirm or reject bookings, to send out custom email notifications, to restrict booking times, etc.
Here are the main features:
- quickly confirm or reject a booking
- receive an email notification when a booking request is made
- notify a customer by email when their request is confirmed or rejected
- automatically block bookings when you’re closed, including holidays and one-off openings
- custom user role to manage bookings
- add your booking form to any page, post or widget area
- customize all notification messages, and date and time formats
- add and edit bookings from the admin panel
- take bookings for multiple locations!
- send customers an email about their booking from the admin panel
- ban abusive customers to save money on no-shows!
Cool, isn't it?
And obviously, a booking system can be used in many different ways ... It's not just for restaurants ... You can use it for all kinds of bookings, reservations, and appointments.
It's a relatively big plugin (1.40 MB) so let's start with the usual speed tests ...
