The whole process in a nutshell
- Promotion of your website or post in social media or paid advertising
- Lead magnet offer page or pop-up
- Thank you email from the autoresponder asking for confirmation from the subscriber
- 1st Email in your campaign - Welcome with Lead magnet link
- 2nd Email in your campaign - Reminder of why they joined. Give more value
- 3rd Email in your campaign - How you've helped others example. Benefits.
- Sales page - outlining offer for the specific problem. Proof of benefits. Including a Call To Action button to buy or sign up for your product.
There are many ways to build a campaign to collect email addresses. Always keep in mind that you need to offer something of value, so that people want to give you their email address and that the following emails will build a relationship and trust with your subscriber. 'The money is in the list.'
Once someone sees your post or advertisement (on FB, Pinterest, etc) and comes to your website you can offer them something of value (lead magnet) to give you their email address. It doesn't matter if you decide to use a landing page created in your chosen autoresponder or one you have created as a page on your website.
Or if you create a simple pop-up provided in the autoresponder, they all do the same job. They offer a Free gift in exchange for a person's email address. (Landing pages just give you more room to offer benefits)
Your autoresponder will send out a Thank you email asking a subscriber to confirm their subscription (this protects you from fake subscribers.) You can edit and expand this email.
The next 3 emails are relationship building with your subscriber. You provide the link for their Free gift and promote what you do and how you can help them. By placing a PS at the bottom of your emails you let them know any other product that may help them.
It is up to you if you want to add a Salespage that you can send them to which has a clear call to action button (CTA). Some people prefer to put this in the 3rd email. You may decide to just add a link in your email to your product or the signup link to Wealthy Affiliate.
This is the time to do some research online. Look at how other professionals create their pop-ups, what their landing pages and sales pages look like. Decide how many steps you want to include in this simple funnel.
Next, creating a lead magnet.
I have created the sign-up form with Aweber and put it on my website on the right side: https://youhealwithgrace.com/.
On desktop, it is shown normally. But today I just found out that on mobile only the title shows up (Stay connected with...) but not the frame where people put in their name and email and submit button, nothing except for the title. Please help!
Thanks a lot!
Grace
There is a lot of information that I am not familiar with and most likely I will need to revisit again. I do hope that I will be able to access to it in the future.
