Things You Will Need to Include

Knowing that all of your content will be spelled out on a single page, you will have to be more cautious and deliberate about what you will include.

It’s important to include only the information that your audience will need. This information should be visible and understandable at first sight.

Here are some things you should also include:

  • A list showing relevant products and services you offer
  • Visible call-to-action like purchases, contact, or sign-up
  • Links to social media profiles and other types of content
  • An About section explaining your products or services

There is also a need to place this information in an orderly manner. The most important information should be placed at the top; this is where your visitors will most likely see it as soon as they click through your page. Other information like contact and call-to-action should be placed at the bottom of the page.

In conclusion, you have to think of the information that will be most useful to your users. This will help you know the kind of information you are to place on this page.

Most welcome, Lea! Glad you found it exciting and informative! When it comes to setting up a one-page website, the Elementor plugin is an essential tool.

Agreed Michael, take me a week, no a month to sort that out.

Haha, I didn't mean to scare you with the screen image, Roger. It is just meant to demonstrate data on a single page, nothing more!! Thanks for your input! Deeply grateful!

Thank you for the lesson. I would be scared if my computer monitor had a similar image.

Best wishes,

Sorry to scare you, Michael! It's just a screen demonstration. Thanks for reading my one-page setup tutorial!

I am definitely going to practice building one using a free site to start. I'm still getting use to Gutenberg after finally taking the leap from classic editor. Hated Gutenberg at first, but it's growing on me now and my navigation has much improved. I'm surprised at the amount of plugins available to use with Gutenberg. This could be a great technique to promote just one really specific high ticket affiliate promotion.
Thanks!

What a more advanced editor plugin in WordPress! You weren't alone! So many people told me they initially hated Gutenberg but have now started getting used to it. Thanks again!

Great. So do you link internally to different places on the same page?

Hi you can yes.

Perhaps it is a pillar post and creating a table of contents. So you are anchor linking if it clicked upon to where to reach focused content.

Some may do an overall front page and it lists different articles within their site (not necessarily same page), however I'd always keep it relevant and don't over it.
