You have now successfully configured your email address with AWeber and the WA Nameservers to use DKIM & SPF Records, which will help with your email deliverability to improve the chances of your email arriving in your subscribers inbox.

If this training is now out of date, please let me know below or via PM, and I will get it updated for you.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave a comment below, and either myself or one of the other great WA members here will get back to you :-)

This is great Chrystopher!

I use Aweber and had seen that message on top of their website about a week ago and did not have a chance to do anything with it yet.

Now, Thanks to you, all I had to do was to send a message to support and everything is up and running!

Your efforts with SiteSupport has evidently saved me and other Aweber's subscribers a lot of headaches!

Thank you so much!!!👍👍👍

Denis

P.S. Site support are also very efficient, took them a few minutes to set things up!

You're welcome Denis :-) and yes, SiteSupport are extremely efficient and quick when it is a simple task ;-) This one took me almost 3 weeks to get resolved, but as you say, it's a matter of minutes for everyone else now, so my pain was definitely worth it and paid forward haha

Hey Chrystopher,

So, do I understand correctly that only the web hosting provider's support staff can do this for our websites, and for those contemplating leaving WA hosting services, they would need to repeat this with their new hosting provider?

That's correct Trish, unless you have access to DNS at the web hosting providers end. AWeber do provide instructions on the Setup page for the common Registrars/Web Hosts.

If you ever change your Nameservers to/from WA or to/from any Web Host you will have to repeat this step as DNS settings do not migrate over automatically.

I'm always concerned when members come to Wealthy Affiliate who already own a domain name and other members simply say just point your Nameservers to WA. This can be bad if they already have a website and/or email services on that domain name, as they will stop working.

Some members seem to think that Web Hosting (WordPress) and DNS settings automatically move over and they don't.

I hear ya' on that aspect and second that! When moving a site from one host to another, I literally hand over EVERYTHING so that my email does not get lost in space.

Oh... when I signed into my Aweber account, I could NOT find a link to My Account. Ended up Google searching and found Aweber supplied a link to the Domains and Addresses under your My Account page.... BUT... a member MUST be logged INTO their Aweber account FIRST and then click on this link: https://www.aweber.com/users/contact/domains_addresses

Thanks HEAPS for creating this training. Heck, I hadn't even noticed that my email address had not been verified. Sheeesh! Bad on me. Now... all is working as it SHOULD.

Ahh ok, so when you click on your account/profile in the very top right-hand corner of AWeber after logging in, My Account wasn't shown as per my screenshots? Very strange. And yes, you will need to be logged in to access these details as they are account specific :-)

I'm glad you have finally verified your email address and that you now have your DKIM & SPF Records set up correctly ;-) Let's hope more of your emails now arrive at your subscriber's inboxes :-)

Nope... not for me. My profile took me to, my Personal information, Password, and Security Questions only.

The strange thing is, that I have been receiving emails when someone signs up. What makes me wonder is, if all of the verification emails are arriving properly... or not.

From now on, Thanks TO YOU, I should be seeing a bit more activity... maybe? Time will tell.

hmm very strange, this is a closeup of what I see, are your options different? (Image 1)

And you're welcome, I'm sure you'll get a load more confirmations now :-) But more importantly, more people responding to your broadcasts ;-)

LOL! Yup... y'er right Chrystopher. If I'd had EYEs to see, I would have seen that straight away. Daaaah on me.

Goes to show me just how dependent I am on images, as I've known for quite awhile now that I am a visual learner.

Thanks again.
