Upon activation, you'll notice a new "TLDR Settings" menu item in your Wordpress admin bar. It will take you to the plugin configuration page:


You'll see several very straightforward options that will allow you to customize the position and the appearance of your TLDR and CTA button:

  • you can enable or disable the backlink & branding of the plugin author
  • you can define the text for the button that shows the article summary, and the button that shows the full article
  • you can select the summary button location: button above the content (default), fixed bar button top, and fixed bar with button bottom
  • you can customize the colors and appearance of the summary box and call to action (CTA) button

Once you are happy with your choices, simply click the "Save Changes" button to store your settings.

OK. Now let's see the magic ...

That's what I wondered, if the text in it would be used in search engines. If it isn't, that makes it easier to use it.
