Now, after a few weeks you will have purged all of the lists that are not providing REAL VALUE to you, and you've freed up your time. (By the way, it doesn't hurt to keep joining lists, just join them and see what happens. If they don't seem to provide any value after a month or so, unsubscribe!)

But, there will still be those occasional products or services that you stumble upon. Whether you're searching for a particular thing that would benefit you and your business, or you've been referred to something useful by "one of the good guys" that you didn't unsubscribe from, you will still land on sales pages.

Here's my recommendation for keeping yourself out of trouble by buying things you don't need:

1) Every time you find yourself on a sales page, automatically scroll to the bottom of the page to find the price. Take note of the price from that point forward. This will allow you to make a much more intelligent decision, based on more logic than you would have if you would have let yourself become captivated from the start.

2) Scan the page quickly to find out what the product/service DOES, and what they claim the BENEFITS are.

3) Determine if having the benefits listed would benefit your business. Ask yourself: "Would having every single one of the things they are listing help me make more money?" If you feel they are, then continue to read more of the sales page. If not, move on and recognize that you just saved yourself some time & money!

4) If you feel like you COULD benefit from the product/service being offered, then BOOKMARK the page. The key to this step is to have a bookmark folder for things you're considering buying. Bookmark the page, and come back to it later.

It sounds funny, but if you don't find yourself coming back to it for weeks, just delete the bookmark and forget about it!

Yes, this step seems obvious. But, if you take it seriously, you can save yourself a TON of money, and that money can help you in so many ways:

- If you could "resist" just ONE $47 ebook each month, that's enough money to pay for your membership to Wealthy Affiliate, and buy a domain name!

- Saving money from avoiding launches & useless products can allow you to outsource articles, PLR rewrites, graphics, landing pages and more...this frees up more time, and allows you to make more progress faster! Then, your confidence will start to rise, and you'll make more and more money. (Believe me: this is what is happening for me, just from these simple steps...)

Ready to here the last "trick" I used to stay focused and tune out the noisy gurus screaming about their products all day?

This is a fantastic tutorial! I LOVE #1 and I recommend it to my readers all the time. Have an 'un-subscribe' day and remove some of the 'noise' in this industry.

Naturally, I never recommend that they un-subscribe from MY list... haha!

I really enjoyed your tutorial! Gold for you!
