While the Search Bar and Asking A Question should be able to resolve most of your problems, we all learn differently so here are some other options.

Live Chat

Sometimes just being able to talk to someone about the issue you are having is the best way to resolve it. You may be unsure how to ask the question or just not understanding the help that you are finding. This is where the Live Chat feature comes into play!

For example I struggled early on with learning how to shorten posts on my blog roll and no matter how I searched that I could not find my answer. So I hopped over to the Live Chat and asked for help. Turns out I was not phrasing my problem correctly for the search bar to be able to help and after discussing my issue, someone was able to point me in the right direction.

One word of caution when it comes to the Live Chat is that there may not be someone available that can help with your particular problem. That can be particularly frustrating when you want to overcome a challenge quickly.

This is why creating a question is the best route to go as it will be seen by more and also will remain here for future reference as well. The Wealthy Affiliate system is designed so that those knowledgeable will get notified of unanswered questions.

Blog About It

You can also create a personal blog about your situation here and ask for help through that. While blogging about it is basically the same as asking a question there are times where maybe that would better fit your situation.

As you can see here I have blogged when I updated my WA Review and asked for feedback from the community here.

Private Messaging

The last option is to send a private message to someone. This option is one I save as a last resort as it can be hard to even know who to ask for help. However if someone has been helping you via the chat or in the comments of your question, then sometimes taking it to a PM can be okay to help work out some of the finer details.

If you do decide to go this route, just remember that you are asking someone to take time out of what they are doing to help you. So be respectful of their time and make sure to thank them when you are done!

Thanks for this training. We can all forget to ask when we are getting frustrated with something that doesn't work or you can't understand.
A very clear but gentle reminder.

I certainly can understand that. I have been frustrated a few times through out this whole process and that can definitely hinder the way you think when you are asking for help.
