So ...

If you create or edit a post/page, you'll notice a new Easy Recipe icon in the toolbar of your visual editor ...

... which will open the Easy Recipe’s "Add a New Recipe" toolbox:

Basically, it's a multi-tabbed recipe wizard that will allow you to enter your recipe with ingredients, instructions, nutrition information, etc.

If you want, you can enter your recipe in plain text format and if it has separate lines for ingredients and instructions, then the plugin will automatically detect those.

Several customization options will require EasyRecipe Plus, the upgraded paid version of the plugin. For only $25 you'll get access to a bunch of amazing features like cut and paste, auto conversion of your plain text recipe posts, live custom formatting, Google Recipe View formatting and preview button, automatic ratings, conversion from other recipe plugins like ZipList, RecipeSEO and Recipe Card, etc.

What is really important: even the free version will allow you to easily create SEO-friendly recipes, giving you all the advantages of microdata, without any of the messy coding. Just create your post/page, upload your photo(s) and enter your recipe. The plugin formats it all and allows your visitors to view your recipe in the format YOU create ... Here's a live example with a simple pizza recipe:

It’s quick and easy, the recipes look great and they will have ratings and print features.

And most importantly you have a MUCH better chance for your recipes showing up in Google’s Recipe View search results!

Also, the plugin adds a Google rich snippet preview button in your post/page editor, so you can check how your recipe will appear in search results:

Cool, isn't it?

And that's it my friends!
