Now that you have a Google Analytics account, you can do things like checking the performance of your web pages. Here is how you do this:

  • Click on "Admin" at the top of Google Analytics Page.
  • Select the Property that you want to add goals.
  • Under All Web Data.
  • Scroll down to "goals".
  • You see a box with "+New Goals".
  • Click on the red box "New Goals".
  • Scroll down and select "Custom".
  • Click "continue".
  • Type in the title of the page/post you want to set (example: /how-to-build-website)
  • For "Type".
  • Select "Destination".
  • For Goal Details, type the URL of your site.
  • Scroll down and SAVE.
