How To Add An External Link To A Post.

Pastor,
1) I know that we can go back, and edit already published posts, to add these links. My question is will we get SEO credit for it, even if we already had it indexed before?
2) Same as above, when referring to your tip about adding Meta Title & Meta Description Keywords?

Hey Jeff! Great question. You can get SEO credit for edits made on your website. In fact, you should go back and optimize your posts from time to time to make sure they're current and to sustain rankings.
Typically, when I edit my posts, I will go back and resubmit the URL for re-inspection within the search console. I was taught to do this by Jay (Magistudios). I'd recommend you do the same.
That process helped me to get many of my posts that weren't ranking to start ranking. I had lots of SEO errors in the posts I wrote starting out. As a result, they didn't rank, but when I optimized my articles, added in SEO, and resubmitted them for inspection, they ranked, and some moved up the rankings. Of course, this isn't to say that 100% will improve, but it's a good best practice.
