Adding a link to your banner which is in your post in WordPress can sometimes be a bit tricky. Actually, it is a very simple process and you need no more than a couple of minutes to accomplish this task.

Because of the reason that some WA members asked for an advice about how to do it, I decided to create a video tutorial for them and for the whole community.

As said, adding a link to the banner in your post is not difficult. before adding the link, you need to choose a banner. Wealthy Affiliate platform in the Banner section of it, provides a collection of 36 Wealthy Affiliate Banners. Use this collection to choose your banner you will use for your post!

Afterwards, upload the banner into your Media Library in a WordPress. From there, you will insert the banner into your WordPress post.

To complete the task of adding a link to your WA banner successfully, you need to accomplish following steps:

1) Inside the text of your post in WordPress, select the place where you will enter your banner
2) Click on a Add Media button
3) Select your chosen WA banner
4) Add the Title and the Alternative (Alt) text to the banner
5) Click on insert into post
6) A banner was added to the post
7) View the post
8) Banner is live on internet

After accomplishing those tasks above, it is time to add the link to the banner

9) From WordPress post go to WA Dashboard, then to Links & Tracking section and on your WA Affiliate Links list, copy your preferred affiliate link.
10) Go back to your Wordpress post with the selected banner and left click on the banner.

When the pencil icon shows up, click on it.

11) In the Image Details dialog box, add first the Alt text. After that, in thedrop down menu "Link to" select: Custom URL. Then, enter your copied link from the previous step.

12) Edit the image Title Attribute bar
13) If you want your URL to open in a new window, check the box Open link in a new tab
14) Click on update
15) Click on View Post
16) Find your Wealthy Affiliate banner in your post and click on it to follow the added link in previous steps

Maybe the description above looks like a bit complicated, but it is not so. Check the video and you will see ho easy it is to add a link to the banner within Word Press platform.

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial. If so, please leave a comment below and I would be more than happy to reply!

Best regards!

I kinda got the gist of your video, but I've spent that last hour trying to find a thing called "Links & Tracking"! All my queries just brought me back to your post. So the simplest little thing that was missing was the magic little dollar $ sign at the top of the page. When you don't know, it's a mystery! and when you know, it's simple!
