About Goldtooth

Because of the covid-19 scare, I am recently unemployed. I am sort of a "jack-of-all-trades", but have been employed for 29 years as a dental lab tech. The government closed all Dental offices back in April and I am temporarily looking for an income. At 76, I'm not looking for strenuous work. :-)

Now that offices are starting to open in a very limited way, I have a trickle of work coming in, but not enough to support me.

After a few months of searching other sites and testimonials, some of which are phenomenal, I've concluded that what it takes to excel in marketing of any kind, is the right aptitude! I have always avoided any form of "social networking" because I'm a rather quiet person and not very social at all. So for me to be a social butterfly, and engage in "chatter", runs totally against my nature. When it came to writing good grammatical text, I was pretty sure I could do that. But since is seems that the basis of acceptance in the world of Google, they require massive engagement in social discourse.

So it is with regret that I feel I am in the wrong place to succeed. I really do appreciate the commoradory and helpfulness of the community here. It is like nothing I have ever seen elsewhere. However, since I stopped struggling with making this work for me, I feel like a ten ton weight has been lifted from me.

So I want to thank everyone who has offered help and given me the encouragement to persist. I must now try to subsist in the profession I know.

So awesome Gerald, I know from experience that goals are what lead us to success. Work relentlessly in pursuit of these goals and they CAN and WILL happen.

In fact, wipe failure out of your mind right now. It simply won't happen. You have too much help, support and an entire community of help behind you to ever let that happen :)

If you need anything going forward, just let me known and I will be happy to give you a hand.

Hi and welcome to WA Premium! You’ll see pretty fast what a good choice you’ve made. 76? I just turned 74, 5 days ago. I’m sure not ready to sit back and be idle. Lol

Earning income is a factor for sure and I feel blessed to have found Wealthy Affiliate. I’m following you and you are welcome to follow me if you choose.

Best to you on this journey!

Thanks for the welcome and follow. I suppose our age is a small common denominator, but truthfully, I am about as foreign to the Eastern half of our continent as I could be. Born and raised in the "West", and still in AZ, I find the culture of the eastern seaboard to be very different. I have a son lining in Indiana, but find that climate to be very unfriendly to me. (Remember, anything east of New Mexico is just back east!) :-)

I had finally gotten my 1st web page mostly built up, but then got stuck as to how to expand it. After reading Kyle's instructions, I thought I was clear to begin building it out, and my place of work needed my presence to do a few jobs, so have gotten a bit stalled. My time will be harder to come by now. I had so hoped to be able to get recognized by Google enough to start paying my membership, but that's seems to be elusive at this time.

Since you've been here for awhile, I might just bend your ear from time to time for suggestions. Creativity isn't my strongest suite.
Perhaps I could hear from you again sometime.

Hi- sorry for the late response. Yes, I’ve been here a year, however, I’m just getting re-started as a couple of emergency surgeries got in the way.

Happy to stay in touch!

Welcome to Premium where you'll meet lots of new friends, enjoy great training and support. Feel free to follow me and ask for questions if you need help.
Be sure to do each of the lessons and at the end of each lesson is a place for questions to Kyle, especially if you don't understand something.
We welcome you to blog here at WA and let us know how you're doing. Just remember to not put your website in your blog. That goes in your profile, where there is a place to put it. Just click on the Pen at the top of your dashboard, click on "blog at WA", write your title, choose your opening photo from the thousands of photos available and begin to write.
You will have a lot of questions. That’s normal. Most of your questions have been answered in the lessons, blogs, videos and tutorials. Ask questions at the end of each lesson. There is a place at the top of your WA dashboard where you can ask a question. Also, the chat roll is there to ask questions.
We're glad you're here and hope you enjoy your journey at WA.
