So, How Long Does it Take to Start Pulling Traffic?
If you’ve been curious to know, you’re not thinking about it in the right direction! Conceptually, you can get hundreds of readers to your blog in a few days of launching. You can start seeing the traffic streaming in on day 1.
Let’s say, for example, you have a Facebook network that has hundreds of thousands of followers. All it requires is a post or more directing them to your new blog and you’ll get a lot of social traffic.
Or perhaps, you hit the Publish button after writing your first post and have it submitted to Reddit. Come what may, it gets voted up and skyrockets to the front page. Your server will get crashed because you’ll get heavier traffic than you can handle.
While these may sound good to you, the problem is, they offer short-lasting solutions to pulling traffic. They’re not repeatable tactics you can rely on.
The best life-long solution to pulling consistent blog traffic is search engine optimization (SEO).

While you've recognized the fact that there's a displaying effect called the Google Sandbox which is deliberately created to prevent spammers from coming up with too many new blogs with the intention to gain a quick profit, you should keep posting consistently while building quality external backlinks from niche-related authority sites alongside. As you've read in the training, every new blog passes through the Google sandbox for a period of 6-12 months to start getting organic traffic depending on how committed, consistent and determined the blog owner is. It depends on how many quality links you've built and how consistently you're publishing posts on your blog at fixed schedules. Thanks for your valuable contributions!

Thanks for your response. A Day or two ago while researching a product I saw a website that was ranked on first page of Google on position 5 or 6, on that keyword I was researching but what got me baffled is that the site has just two posts published.
I think it is a new website but what I don't understand is how come it is already ranked on the first page, and with just two articles on it? What happened with the sandbox stage?
Do you think you can explain that?
