The Google Sandbox
Brand-new websites don’t get ranked in search engines until they have shown that they have what it takes to get ranked – consistently building high-quality content and getting links from industry authority sites for months! This interlude effect is called "Sandbox”. It’s created to avert spammers from coming up with fresh blogs with the aim to get ranked for strategic keywords and generate a speedy profit. That used to work long ago, but not anymore in search engines of today.
It doesn’t matter how experienced you are in search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, but the Google Sandbox is made for every new blog to pass through before getting traction in search results.
Though it may be frustrating for most newbie bloggers who just want to set up the blog and get started seeing pro blogging results even without following the right blogging fundamentals if you’re someone like me anyway, you should accept the Google sandbox and always prepare to pass through it on creating new niche sites.
But the reason we see thousands of newbie bloggers quitting faster than they started out is that they either don’t have the right mindset or have no idea what is called the Google Sandbox from the onset. Imagine putting in a lot of effort into blogging for 3-5 months without getting results!
If you weren’t told about the Sandbox before starting out a niche blog, chances are, you could eventually give up a matter of months from now for getting zero traffic despite all posting efforts, not knowing there’s a delaying effect created by Google to prevent spammers from throwing up new sites purposely to earn an instant profit.
So, let me congratulate you if you’re just getting to know about the Google Sandbox through this training.
Due to the super blogging experience, I don’t see a cause at all to squabble about not getting results in the first few months of starting out, knowing that I could grow that to a much bigger asset over time.
Without further ado, there’s no cause to bicker over your rankings and traffic. Rather, stick to the pro blogging strategy, keep on posting, believe that the blogging and SEO practices you follow are working techniques, and stay motivated. With this achieved, you’re a success.
