Why Does Trust Matter?
Prior to considering the various steps to take to improve your site’s trust score, it’s crucial to emphasize why trust is so significant.
The ruling idea at stake is so simple:
Clients do business with the brands they know, like, and most significantly, trust. Most users out there have a basic understanding of this fact obviously. And Google’s top priority has always been to offer the best possible user experience to their searchers.
Sites with low trust signals are not usually trusted and, so, wouldn’t get the priority amidst the few sites that Google will present to its searchers in SERPs. They want to be sure they’re giving the best experience to users by presenting the most trusted sites, which ensures that they keep coming back to search again and again.
Google realizes that, without satisfying the users’ intent with the best and most trusted sites, they’ll stop coming back to search on. Eventually, no one will ever click on the displayed Ads. And that will constitute a great loss in Advertising revenue for Google.
Recall, Google generates more than 85% of its overall revenue from advertising alone. To put things in context, last year, Google earned a total of 136.22 billion dollars of which 116 billion dollars was made from advertising alone.
You want a higher Google PageRank? Then make a concerted effort to increase your site trust level. Now, how can you build Site Trust? It begins with understanding what Google TrustRank represents and how it’s utilized by Google to rank sites.
Could it be because my site trust is 10 %?
Also, I purchased my domain sometime in march 2019. But, I have seen a YouTube video with the same URL in 2016.
Is this a problem, Israel?
