Daily Limit: this limit is a bit hard to pin down. Sometimes I have hit is very quickly (less than 100 new adds a day), sometimes it allowed me to add 2-3 hundred at a time. In any event, when you hit it you are done for the day. You will have to wait 24 hours from when you last tried and were rejected; not a big deal really.
Circle Limit: each circle supposedly has a limit of 1,000 followers, although this doesn’t seem to be completely hard and fast. Some people have reported not being able to reach that number while others seemly have passed it without having any problems. Besides this is not a big problem as long as you can simply add more circles and keep on going.
Account Limit: here is where it gets difficult! You can now have only 5,000 total across your entire G+ account, no matter how many circles your create! This is not talking about a limit of 5,000 people following you, but 5,000 you are following. And as we all know, it is not unusual to have to follow twice as many as will ever follow you. So, under normal circumstances, we would expect to top out at around 2,500-3,000 people actually following us per account.
That’s a significant limitation!
Of my 4 accounts, 3 have hit the account limit.
