I keep being asked to share some ideas on using tools and ideas on time management. I prepared one tutorial about time management, so maybe I will go into more detail and make it as simple as I can.

There is so much technology and tools that can help you in time management that it would be impossible to share in one tutorial.

First, and this must be the starting point. Get EVERYTHING that is on your mind out of your mind and on paper. I mean EVERYTHING. Things you must do. Things you want to do. Ideas on blogs/posts for your website. Ideas for blogs/posts on the WA site.

Dump it…I mean dump it. Don’t stop until everything you have thought about gets put down. We’ll deal with what to do with it later. For the moment, just empty your head.

I don’t care if it’s a yellow pad, a notebook a computer program, just write it down. No, don’t get sidetracked…do it now. Until you do this, you are just running in place, spinning your wheels, boing nowhere.

Therefore, you are stuck and will stay stuck until you do what I am telling you to do. C’mon…get it down on paper.

Don’t try to tell me you don’t have time…too busy…too many other things you must do. Stop everything and turn your life around. Quit wasting time right now. This is a life changer for you.

Boy, you should see my jar of rocks! I've hit them all with a sledge hammer so I could get more of them in there.

Yes, it’s so often that we leave all of it in our head and the simple act of getting it out is forgotten. Thank you for writing this!!

You rock!

I did a blog post on procrastination recently. Here's my list done in Scrivener, an app mostly used for writing books.
