What You Need to Start Your Video Production

You can start your video production in a very simple way with just your beginner toolkit. You will need to consider the kind of videos that you will be recording. You may need to isolate sound as if you are in a room with much background noise.

You will need a pocket recorder to do this like the Zoom H1 recorder that has an inbuilt microphone and lapel mic that can isolate your audio.

If you can afford to invest more, you can consider a multi-video recording hub like SlingStudio which allows you to use an iPad and control up to 10 video feeds without setting cables. You can also stream directly to YouTube or Facebook.

You can also look for an experienced toolkit that has cameras with interchangeable lenses to give you high-quality products that your audience will find very little flaws with.

As you improve on your production, you can upgrade your technology and get higher quality microphones that you can attach to your shirts and mixers that will help you adjust audio signals to make sure that each voice is well recorded as a separate audio file.

After recording your video, you will need software for video and audio editing. There are simple and cheap video and audio editing tools but a more sophisticated one will serve you better. With the right tools, you will be able to create great content for your audience without minding what they will think about your production.

Conclusion

As a content marketer, you need to key into the new ways of creating content for your audience. Remember that it is easier to convince them with visual content than just written content all the time.

Professional skills aren’t required to create videos successfully. All you need is being able to convince yourself to give it a try and continue to improve on the skill. Many amazing video blogs started out in a very simple manner and became better with time.

Go for the simplest video recording equipment and editing software that you can afford and gradually invest in having better ones. Remember that what you need the most is being able to convince your audience about your video content.

yep I'm one of those people Israel. I tend to stutter, then the words don't flow. Your tips on recording are great. Someone else suggested I write out a script on what I want to say. I suppose practice makes perfect.

Hey Bray, writing a script for your video is important, as it ensures people who, for one reason or the other, are unable to watch can still go through the content of your script and grab what you have on the video. Thanks again!

Thanks Israel, it is my intention to create videos as soon as possible. Unfortunately I get very nervous and that is not good to transmit. I hope to improve in the future.

Of course, you can make use of text-to-speech tools to create your videos and you will never have to worry about appearing before the camera. Thanks for stopping by, Claudio!

Wow, good to know, Rosana! Appreciate your comment on this tutorial! Lynda was one of those who started out so low, but later upgraded their video quality. What a role model!
