OK, now you have an original image...you want it featured in your post...
Easy to do...and I'm sure you are all adding images so I won't bore you with how to do that. But are you using the functions of your wordpress images to best advantage..rank advantage?
You should use your SEO knowledge in your images also.
Use your keyword at least once in your Alt text, I also like to use it in a title of another image...personal choice...but ALWAYS fill in the alt text.
Adding a description and caption also helps make it original and "yours"
I usually get rid of the link attachment to the media file (its annoying when you click what you think is a link and you just get a bigger picture...i think). I usually link it to another internal page, post or relevant section...or more often just to my home page...but thats me...
The importance of alt text in your image is in the sharing...as that little bit of text is often used as the caption for your photo when you send it socially!
